Bandcampers, where are y'all? This is a rocking album full of complex structures and character. It's dam awesome. Joachem has terrific vocal control and his self-harmony tracking is unbeatable (eg Along with the dancer). It's like Coldplay bedded Stereolab (the French influence of organs, synths and some rhythmical aspects) while Muse watched wearing funky clothes and Phoenix directed... Music porn, but you'll listen all the way through this time.
All songs by In The Canopy - Thomas Chalindar (drums, percussions) / Erwan Karren (bass) / Maxime Lunel (guitar, synths, omnichord) / Thomas Martinez (guitar) / Joachim Müllner (vocals - guitar - percussions).
